Google
Cash: is
Google Adwords the ideal web tool for promoting global
products in local markets? |
|
|
About two months ago, you probably remember that
I've endorsed Chris Carpenter's "Google Cash" ebook, because of the
excellent detailed techniques and advice he gives you for placing text ads
at Google, without necessarily owning your own web site, without
optimizing your web pages, and without writing articles.
The beauty about Chris' online system is precisely its simplicity, i.e.
you can start generating cash within 24 hours, without any hassles. All
you have to do is research the right keyword phrases, with a low cost per
bid, write your ad copy and finally promote your merchant' site directly.
This week, I've read "Google Cash" again, because there is a new version
that explains in detail how Chris uses the new AdWords Analyzer tool.
You
can actually see in great depth how Chris actually does it, by visiting
our discussion forum here.
Then, I said to myself: let me put this innovative system into practice
and test it with a few specific examples...
Firstly, I visited the Commission Junction
affiliate
network (which you can join for free) and then selected the option called
'Advertiser List'.
It immediately will give you a list of merchants, all ranked automatically
according to a specific criteria - which is "3-month Earnings-per-100-Clicks
(EPC)" - and the first page of results will give you the top 25 merchants (out
of 1,250), with their 3-month EPC ranging from $160 up to $40.
As a publisher, I've applied to a few programs out of this list of top 25
merchants, and what's great is that sometimes, you get approved instantly. Well,
that's what happened to me with DentalPlans.com
Then, I've visited their site and found out that they represent 20 of the
leading dental networks in the US, with over 100,000 participating dentists
accepting their plans.
They also have over 4,500 affiliates and an EPC over $41 for the last 18 months.
They also pay $44 per sale. It sounds great! Let me try something with Google
Adwords
[Important note: you can't promote at Google Adwords merchants placing pop-ups
at their home page. Fortunately, DentalPlans.com didn't place any pop-ups... ].
You can actually see the results of
my campaign
at Google Adwords by clicking here, and also
the sale
that was generated by clicking here. In short, I've spent $15 and I
generated one sale totaling $44, for this 24-hour experiment.
Obviously, better results could be achieved by promoting affiliate
programs offering residual income with Google Adwords...
Do you want specific examples? Well, take
Site Build It, which is an integrated e-commerce
solution including web hosting, domain name, integrated Mailout module,
WebMail, Spam Check, keyword research / brainstorming tools, automatic
Search Engine submission, ad tracking, and reporting.
Do non-English
speaking netrepreneurs know about it? Probably not! You could target
specific countries via Google Adwords, and compete within the hosting
market. As you know, web hosting is not necessarily a local market.
Another e-commerce solution that should also sell well with Google Adwords
(and without having your own site) is
Marketer's Choice, which allows you to automate your email
marketing, Website sales, digital delivery, ad tracking, credit card
processing, recurring billing, affiliate program, or any eCommerce
activity you might face...
Their affiliate program pays a 30% commission rate on occurring and
reoccurring revenue, and it can grow to 40% if you invest with them $5,000
(Initial Setup Fee for their Private Label program, which will also give
you the opportunity to promote your own unique domain).
This is what well-known marketers such as Terry Dean, Ted Ciuba, Fred
Gleeck, Willie Crawford, Marlon Sanders, and Frank Kern have done... they
all promote their own Private Label for
Marketer's Choice. Do non-English speaking netrepreneurs (outside
the US) know
about this excellent e-commerce solution? Probably not!
Google Adwords is ideal for promoting global products in local markets.
